About

I'm Luke, and I am a fully HCPC registered physiotherapist, graduating in 2010 from Manchester Metropolitan University, with 13 years experience working in both the NHS and private practice, in acute neuro and neuro rehabilitation settings. I combine part time clinical work with my current role as a Senior Physiotherapy Lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University. 

I have extensive experience working with conditions such as;

-Stroke

-Multiple Sclerosis

-Parkinsons Disease

-Functional Neurological Disorders

-Brain injury

-Falls and frailty 

-Post operative rehabilitation

I am passionate about working with people with neurological conditions and keep active in up to date research and current practice through membership of the neurological physiotherapy special interest group ACPIN, attending relevant courses and events.

I aim to promote independence and quality of life, and work with people towards their goals, and to reach their potential.
